Dr Bryan Scott, MD Orthopedic Surgery
Dr Bryan Scott is a fellowship-trained joint replacement surgeon specializing in the treatment of degenerative hip and knee conditions including arthritis. He is a native of California and completed his undergraduate degree at the University of California Los Angeles. He then completed his medical degree at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine on a merit scholarship. He remained at the University of Chicago for his residency training in orthopedic surgery before spending an additional year of training in orthopedic trauma at Denver Health/University of Colorado. He completed his second fellowship in adult reconstruction and total joint replacement at Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School.

He is presently an orthopedic surgeon specializing in orthopedic trauma and total joint replacement with Advocate Medical Group at Illinois Masonic Medical Center.He has developed an expertise in total knee replacement, partial knee replacement, anterior and posterior hip replacement, revision hip and knee replacement and outpatient total joint replacement. He uses minimally invasive techniques tailored to each patient in order to relieve pain and restore them to their previous level of function.
His treatment philosophy revolves around caring for the whole patient and exploring treatment options tailored to each specific patient. He values evidence based medicine including exploring nonoperative treatment options before embarking on surgery.
